Holistic Health

Health and well-being are, from a holistic perspective, synonymous with our degree of vitality, inner harmony and wisdom, that is, with the harmonious integration of mind, body and spirit.

Mind-Body Harmony and Rejuvenation (2 day workshop)

This workshop addresses the topic of mind-body harmony and rejuvenation from a Yoga – Ayurveda perspective and integrates all the relevant and state-of-the-art knowledge about the process of rejuvenation. The workshop gives you a holistic, practical and in-depth overview of the major aspects of rejuvenation. The workshop addresses lifestyle factors, methods of mind-body harmonization, how to preserve and strengthen one’s vitality, as well as the subject of nutrition. The focus is on the interrelated processes of rejuvenation of the mind and the body (both physical and bioenergetic). Guidelines and practices are given that can help participants integrate the knowledge and information received into their daily life. Important aspects of a yogic lifestyle are also discussed. The workshop is addressed to persons who are interested in holistic health and rejuvenation, persons interested in an integrated Yoga – Ayurveda perspective on the subject, health care professionals (including practitioners of natural medicine and natural therapies), and those considering major changes in lifestyle in order to improve their health and well-being. Some previous background in Yoga is useful but is not a requirement for participating in the workshop.

HOLISTIC COUNSELLING draws upon the person’s own wisdom and intuition on the path of self-healing and growth. It adresses the whole person in his/her life situation. All the interrelated aspects of holistic health are attended to – physical condition, diet, emotional and mental patterns, lifestyle and environment. Holistic healing is a process of harmonization, purification and re-integration. It is ultimately about transformation at the level of one’s deep patterns, not about piecemeal corrective measures. Holistic counselling is not meant to replace medical diagnosis and treatment. Its’ purpose is, rather, to help empower the individual on the path of growth and self-healing.
